বীণার তারে কিসুর বাজে

সেসুর গাথে হৃদয় মাঝে

চিন্তাগুলো কোথায় গেলো

মনটা করে এলোমেলো

উদাস হাওয়ার আভাস যে বয়

ভাবনাগুলো কোথায় কে রয়

সারাটা দিন মিললো সাঁঝে

লাগেনা মন কোন কাজে

এমনি করে কালযে যায়

ভর করে উদাসী হাওয়ায়।

রাতের আকাশে অগনিত তারা
মিটিমিটি করে জ্বলে
আলো আঁধারির খেলা ছড়িয়ে
স্রষ্টার অস্তিত্বের কথা বলে।
দুরত্ব ওদের পৃথিবীর থেকে
অনেক অনেক দুর
অনেক আলোকবর্ষ দুরে আছে ওরা
সেযে এখান থেকে বহুদুর।
তবুও সবাই নিয়ম মেনে চলে
যার যার বলয়ে দোলে
এ মহাবিশ্বে আছে আরও তারা
যাদের আলো এখনও এসে পড়েনি
এই পৃথিবীর কোলে।
