প্রচুর অর্থ, বিত্ত

আছে চারিদিকে সুখ

খুশীতে ভরা চিত্ত।

কতোনা আছে বন্ধু-স্বজন

কতোনা আছে চাটুকার গন।

ভালই কাটে সময় সকল

বোঝা যায়না সকাল-বিকাল।

যখন ফুরাবে বিত্ত তোমার

তখনই চেনা যাবে বন্ধু সবার

থাকবেনা কেউ পাশে দাড়াবার

দেখবেনা সাথে কাউকে পাবার।

সময়ের বন্ধু বটে

অনেকেই হয়

দুঃসময়ে সব অচেনা

কেউ কারো নয়।

এলো পহেলা বৈশাখ
চারাদিক মুখরিত বাজে ঢোল ঢাক।
প্রতিটি বাঙালীর জীবনে
এদিন নতুন প্রেরনা আনে।
বাংলা বছরের প্রথম দিন
হোকসে সুফলা হোক রঙীন।
দিকে দিকে আজ ছড়িয়ে আছে
আনন্দের কোলাহল
পথে পথে আজ ভরে গেছে
লাখো মানুষের ঢল।
এসো সবাই মিলে আজ এই দিনটিকে
সাদরে বরন করি
হাজারো বছরের বাঙালী সত্বার
চেতনা হৃদয়ে ভরি।

Yet they have to be crossed.

আমি হিসাব মিলাতে পারিনি

এখন তখন করে

কখন সময় গুলো

চলে গেছে পার হয়ে

ভেবে দেখিনি।

আমি কথায় লিখতে শিখিনি

কথাগুলো মনে হলে

লিখে যাই আনমনে

সে কথার মানেগুলো

খুজে দেখিনি।

আমি পথের সীমানা খুজিনি

এপথ ওপথ করে

কত পথ পাড়ি দিয়ে

পথের সীমানাটি আর

চোখে দেখিনি।
