Waves of water flutters
The Jamuna is inundated
The waves stuck towards
Rahim Miah's house courtyard.
The house is in the river bank
Passes his life by catching fish
Seeing the tide and web
He keeps all of his family in the house
However, there is heavy fear is his mind
When the house would be broken by the wave
Yet, he was bound to the chest
Hoping for life.

সকাল আটটার আগে

কেউ যদি

ঢাকার ফুটপাতে তাকিয়ে দেখে

দেখতে পাবে কিভাবে

কর্মজীবি মহিলারা

ছুটছে কাজে যাবার তরে

বাসায় সবাইকে রেখে।

আমাদের দেশের আয়ের এক বড় অংশ আসে

এদের শ্রম থেকে

বিনিময়ে কি এরা পায় পারিশ্রমিক

ন্যায্য পাওনা দেখে?

সকাল থেকে রাত পর্যন্ত

খেটে যায় এরা

ফেলে মাথার ঘাম পায়ে

এদের শ্রমকে পুজি করে

অনেকেই থাকে সুখে

লাগিয়ে ঠান্ডা হাওয়া গায়ে।

নুন্যতম পারিশ্রমিক বলে যেটা পায়

সেটা দিয়েই

কোনমতে সংসার চালিয়ে যায়

স্বপ্ন দেখে সুন্দর ভবিষ্যতের

যে যার স্থানে দাড়িয়ে তায়।

প্রতি রাতে চোখ পড়ছে টিভির পর্দায়

সবাই মিলে যোগ দিয়েছে বিশ্বকাপের খেলায়।

চলছে খেলা রাশিয়াতে দেখছে বিশ্ববাসী

কারও চোখে দুঃখের ছাপ কারও চোখে হাসি।

রেফারীও এই খেলাতে যাচ্ছে মেনে হার

যদিওবা যোগ হয়েছে নতুন ভি.এ.আর.

জিতবে কে আর হারবে কে যাচ্ছে নাকো বলা

অনিশ্চয়তায় ভরে থাকা চলছে এবার খেলা।

ভবের হাটের বেচাকেনা

সঙ্গে তোমার কেউ যাবেনা।

সেদিন যেমন এসেছিলে

তেমনি করে যাবে চলে।

যতই করো ভবের মায়া

সন্তান, সম্পত্তি, জায়া।

তাইতো কেঁদে নেই কোন ফল

সাথে যাবে শুধু কর্মফল।

ভবের মায়ায় থাকলে পড়ে

কোন লাভই নেই শরীরে।

In the transparent water of the Dhansiri river
Sandpipers play in teams
The river remains calm for twelve months
So many people live by the side of the river
Nevertheless, keep thinking of the uprights
When everything will fall into the river
By keeping hope, all day went by
Nobody knows when someone will sail with their boats
It will initiate the renewed consciousness of living
Forgetting all the pain that have happened before.

উদাসী রাজা বসে শুধু ভাবে

এমন দিন কি হবে

এই রাজ্যে কেউ যেনো আর

অনাহারে না রবে।

উজীরকে ডাকে, নাজীরকে ডাকে

ডাকে সভাসদগন

তৈরী করতে হবে এক মহাপরিকল্পনা

যাতে করে খেতে পায় রাজ্যের জনগন।

রাজ্যের ভান্ডারকে আরও

সমৃদ্ধশালী করতে হবে

যাতে করে কেউ সামনের দিনে

না থাকে অভাবে।

যেখানেই দেখবে বন্যা, খরা, দুর্ভিক্ষ

সেখানেই বাড়িয়ে দাও হাত

যাতে করে কেউ না অনাহারে থাকে

না কাটায় বিনিদ্র রাত।

অন্ন, বস্ত্র, বাসস্থান

এই তিনটিই মূল

সাথে দিতে পারলে বিদ্যাশিক্ষা

দেশ থেকে অভাব হবে নির্মুল।

এভাবেই রাজা করে তার রাজ্যশাসন

রাজ্যে তার করে নাকো কেউ আর ক্রন্দন।

The passer-by seeing the front

জানালায় বসা ছেলেটি

হাকিকুর রহমান

গলির ধারের জানালায় বসা

ছেলেটিকে আর যায়না দেখা

সেইযে কবে যেন তার সাথে

হয়েছিল শেষ দেখা।

ভুগছিল সে এক কঠিন অসুখে

জানতে পারেনি কেউ

চলে গেল সে অতি সংগোপনে

রেখে কান্নার ঢেউ।

আলাপচারিতায় ছিল সে পটু

সখ্যতা ছিল সবার সাথে

পথচারী, ফেরিওয়ালা যেই হোক না কেন

যেই পার হতো ঐ পথে।

এপথে এলেই ছেলেটির কথা বড়ই মনে পড়ে

ছেলেটি আবার দেখা দিক যেনো ঐ জানালাটি ধরে।

The uplifted down lifted wave in the inundated Padma
There is no one left in the side of it today.
I have to cross it with my little boat
As the day is ending, need to go to the house.
This is the work of my life to cross here and there
The sky is also breezing today.
It must be crossed before the sunset
Need to be holding the boat helm tightly.
This is how I have spent my life
Having seen the dreams of tomorrow, each and every time.

মন হয় আত্মহারা।

বন্ধুদের পোষ্ট দেখে

আমিও লাইক দেই

ফেসবুক বন্ধুত্বের

আদলটাই এই।

ফেসবুক সবাইকে কাছে আনুক

ঘুচাক দুরত্ব

সবাই সবাইকে লাইক দিয়ে

We pray together in this month

Ramadan month of virtues.
The only inspiration in Ramadan is to praise the Creator
In the heart, there is no way to enter bad intentions.
To prevent the rise in the price
Everyone works together
To ensure consumer supply
We have to be successful.
All of the poor and rich people altogether
Hold the holiest month in the heart
Let us follow the given way of
The intercessor of religion and the creator of the universe.

ভাঙ্গবে যবে মিলন মেলা

সাঙ্গ হবে সকল খেলা

চুকিয়ে যাবে হিসাব নিকাশ

নিভিয়ে দিবে প্রানের বিকাশ।

এমন দিন আসবে ভবে

সবার জীবনে

সকল দিনের শেষ হবেযে

অমোঘ মরনে।

কালের খাতায় সবই লেখা

যদিও তা যায়না দেখা

বোঝার যেজন বোঝে সেজন

বিধির বরণে।

ময়ুরী নাচে ডানা মেলে।

শালিক ভিজে ডালে ডালে

বৃষ্টি পড়ে তালে তালে।

আকাশ কালো করে মেঘ

বাতাস বাড়ায় গতিবেগ।

মেঘে মেঘে ঝলকানি

আরও জোরে ঝরে পানি।

এমনি ভরা বরষায়

বাইরে কে আর যেতে চায়।

দাওয়ায় বসে বৃষ্টি দেখি

বরষা নিয়ে কাব্য লিখি।

এমন দিন কি সবার জীবনে আসে

খুশীর কলতান আকাশে বাতাসে ভাসে।

আশায় বুক বেধে রাখা

এমন দিনের তরে

আবেগের বন্যায়

মনপ্রান যায় ভরে।

এমন দিন যেনো প্রতিদিন আসে

সকলের জীবনে

খুশীর আলোর বন্যা বয়ে দেয় যেনো

বিশ্ব কাঁপানো বিশ্বকাপ ফুটবল

গড়াতে যাচ্ছে মাঠে

তারই চিহ্ন দেখা যাচ্ছে সারা দেশের

মাঠে আর ঘাটে।

চার বছর পর পর

এই বিশ্বকাপ খেলা হয়

এবার খেলা হবে

ইউরোপের রাশিয়ায়।

২১০টি দল প্রাথমিকভাবে

বাছাই পর্বে খেলে

৩২টি দল শেষ পর্বে খেলবে মাঠে

বলে আর বলে।

তারকা সমৃদ্ধ অনেক দল

করবে এবার খেলা

কোটি চোখ রুদ্ধশ্বাসে

দেখবে সারা বেলা।

শক্তি আর বুদ্ধিমত্তার খেলা

এই ফুটবল

দুইএর সমৃদ্ধ হয়ে তবে

জিতবে সেই দল।
