Lunar eclipse

This is a cosmic scene
Such incidents happen rarely
And then the whole world watches.
When the earth moves
And, the moon and the sun fall into the middle
This is called lunar eclipse
Then one end of the earth
envelopes under a bloodshaded moonlight.
Eventually this will happen tonight
The longest lunar eclipse of the century
Seeing the scene is impressive
And remember the Creator.

শরতের সকাল

ঝিরি ঝিরি বাতাসে লাগে দোলা মনে

পেজা পেজা মেঘ ভাসে নীল গগণে।

সাদা সাদা কাশফুলে ছেয়ে গেছে বন

দেখে যেনো মনে হয় অন্য ভুবন।

শরতের এ সকাল বড়ই মধুর

মন থেকে দুর করে বেদনা বিধুর।

শালিকেরা আনাগোনা করছে মাঠে

সারি সারি নৌকা বাঁধা রয়েছে ঘাটে।

ছেলে মেয়ে দল বেধে স্কুলে যায়

রাখাল মাঠে ছুটে মাথালি মাথায়।

চাষীরা সব কাস্তে হাতে মাঠের পানে ধায়

গাঁয়ের বধু পুকুর ঘাটে শিশুর গা ধোয়ায়।

শানবাঁধানো দীঘির ঘাটে শাপলা কমল ফুটে

জুই, বেলী আর বকুল ফুলের মধুর সুবাস ছুটে।

এমন দৃশ্য দেখতে তুমি কোথায় পাবে ভাই

রূপসী বাংলার রূপের সীমা নাই।

The harp's tale sounds what a tune
That tune deepens inside the heart
Where did the thoughts go?
Whirling the mind
Here blows the hint of apathetic wind
Where are the thoughts?
The whole day got mixed in the dusk
The mind does not work in any way
That's how the time passes
With a pale breeze.

আসিতেছে লঘুচাপ

মহীরুহবিহীন ধরণীর তলে বাড়িতেছে উত্তাপ।

ওহে সূর্যমুখী!

ওজনহীন সূর্যস্নানে কেন তুমি এতো দুখি?

ওহে মালবিকা!

গাহেনা কেনো আগের মতো অরণ্যে কুহু-কেকা?

ওহে মানবকুল!

উন্নয়নের মিছে অজুহাতে বৃক্ষগুলিকে করে দিলে নির্মুল!

ওহে কিন্নরী!

গেয়ে যাবে শুধু স্বর্গেই তুমি, কিছুকালের তরে ধরায় নেমে

উজ্জীবিত করো সকলকে তোমার মায়াবানী সুর ধরি।

ওহে কর্ণধার!

ঢেকে দিয়ে তোমার করুনার ছায়ায়,

এই মানবজাতিকে করোহে উদ্ধার।

স্বপ্ন দেখার সময় হলো

মনের কোলে এলোমেলো।

স্বপ্ন আসে আনমনে

খেলে বেড়ায় হৃদয় কোনে।

স্বপ্ন দেখে ছোট বড় সবাই

স্বপ্নের কোন স্বাক্ষী নাই।

স্বপ্ন আসে নিজের সাজে দৃশ্যপটে

কোন কোন স্বপ্ন হঠাৎ করে সত্য হয়ে যায় বটে।

অনেক স্বপ্নের কোন মানেই নেই

তবুও স্বপ্ন দেখা কারো বন্ধ হয়না সেই।

স্বপ্ন দেখে কাটে রাত

এটা সৃষ্টির এক অপার রহস্য

স্বপ্ন দেখা বন্ধ হলে

থেমে যাবে জীবনের সকল ভাষ্য।

The stars in the night sky
Glow with glitter
Spreads the game of light and dark
Talk about the existence of God.
Very distant from this world
Far far away
They are many light years away
From here to far away.
Yet everyone adheres to the rules
revolve around their peripheries
There are more stars in this universe
Whose light has not yet come
In the lap of this world.

ভোরের আলো 

হাকিকুর রহমান

ভোরের আলো লাগলো এসে মুখে

আশার আলো জাগলো আবার বুকে।

নতুন দিনের চেতনায় দিলো এগিয়ে যাওয়ার প্রেরনা

আঁধার গিয়েছে কেটে, আর পিছু পা হওয়া যাবেনা।

চারিদিকে বহিছে নির্মল বাতাস দিচ্ছে সুমুখে ডাক

পিছনের দিন ভুলে যাওয়া ভালো, থাকনা পড়ে থাক।

গগনে উঠেছে নতুন সুর্য ভরিয়ে দিয়েছে আলো

সুমুখে যাওয়ার হাতছানিতে প্রানে প্রানে আশা জ্বালো।

In the study, come everyone
Let us develop the merit.
In the memorized studies
The deficit remains.
Must be in the syllabus
Intellectual development strategies
Students should learn about education
Then life will be successful.
Young people have to be provided with
Technical education
It will be needful to work in the country
You have to take an oath.
When to build a better career
There is no alternative to gain knowledge
So, move towards that path
As soon as possible.

চঞ্চুতে লয়ে জল

পান করায় তার বাচ্চাকে

মুখের ভিতরে নিয়ে আধার

ভক্ষণ করায় তাকে

শীত-বসন্ত-গ্রীস্ম-বর্ষায়

ঢেঁকে রাখে তাকে নিজের পাখায়

নিজে না খেয়ে থেকে

বাচ্চাকে দেয় খাবার মুখে তুলি

ধরণী যাক প্রতিকুলে

সেই মাকে কিকরে ভুলি।

দশ মাস দশদিন

নিয়ে জঠরের অভ্যন্তরে

হাসিয়া খেলিয়া বেড়ায়

কতো আশা নিয়ে অন্তরে

ভূমিষ্ঠ হবার সময়

সহে কতো যন্ত্রনা

তবু তার মুখে হাসি

শুনে তার শিশুর কান্না

আদরে জড়ায়ে বুকে

থাকেসে পরম সুখে

বাড়ায়ে দেয় সে হাত

ডেকে নেয় সুমুখে

অসুস্থ হলে পরে

থাকেনা তার রাত্রি-দিন

অবিরাম করে সেবা

তবু মুখটা তার অমলিন

নিজে না খেয়ে থেকে

বাচ্চাকে দেয় খাবার মুখে তুলি

ধরণী যাক প্রতিকুলে

সেই মাকে কিকরে ভুলি।
