বীণার তারে কিসুর বাজে

সেসুর গাথে হৃদয় মাঝে

চিন্তাগুলো কোথায় গেলো

মনটা করে এলোমেলো

উদাস হাওয়ার আভাস যে বয়

ভাবনাগুলো কোথায় কে রয়

সারাটা দিন মিললো সাঁঝে

লাগেনা মন কোন কাজে

এমনি করে কালযে যায়

ভর করে উদাসী হাওয়ায়।

রাতের আকাশে অগনিত তারা
মিটিমিটি করে জ্বলে
আলো আঁধারির খেলা ছড়িয়ে
স্রষ্টার অস্তিত্বের কথা বলে।
দুরত্ব ওদের পৃথিবীর থেকে
অনেক অনেক দুর
অনেক আলোকবর্ষ দুরে আছে ওরা
সেযে এখান থেকে বহুদুর।
তবুও সবাই নিয়ম মেনে চলে
যার যার বলয়ে দোলে
এ মহাবিশ্বে আছে আরও তারা
যাদের আলো এখনও এসে পড়েনি
এই পৃথিবীর কোলে।

মেধার বিকাশ ঘটাই।

মুখস্ত করে পড়াশোনায়

ঘাটতি থেকে যায়।

পাঠ্যসূচীতে থাকতে হবে

মেধা বিকাশের কৌশল

শিক্ষার্থীরা শিক্ষা নিয়ে

জীবনে হবে সফল।

তরুনদেরকে দিতে হবে

কারিগরি শিক্ষা

লাগবে যেটা দেশের কাজে

নিতে হবে দিক্ষা।

উন্নত জাতি গড়তে হলে

জ্ঞানের বিকল্প নাই

সেই পথের দিকে পা বাড়ানো

তাড়াতাড়ি তাই।

আর নয় ক্রন্দন, বন্ধু আমার

সোজা হয়ে দাড়াও

সমূখে পা বাড়াও

নেইকো সময় আর থামার।

পিছু যাগেছে সব চলে যাকনা

স্মৃতিগুলো সব পড়ে থাকনা

নতুন চেতনা নিয়ে

জাগার অনুপ্রেরনা দিয়ে

শুরু করো পথে চলা আবার।

বাঁধা যতোই আসবে আসুক

পিছু যেযাই যতই ডাকুক

নতুন ভরষা নিয়ে

হৃদয়ের গভীরে গিয়ে

চলো সামনে

নাইকো সময় আর পিছনে যাবার।

ঝরে গেলো পাঁচটি তাজা প্রান

সবাই আকুল চোখে তাকিয়ে থাকে।

নাইতে নেমে জলে

গেলো ডুবে ঐ ছেলেরা গভীর অতলে।

কোথায় করবে তারা আনন্দ

ঘটনাচক্রে হলো সব নিরানন্দ।

এমনতরো না যেনো হয় কারও জীবনে

শোক সহিবার ক্ষমতা দাও পরিবার-পরিজনে।

ঐ ছেলেরা কাজ করে দেশের বাইরে

খেয়ে আছে বা না খেয়ে আছে

সেটা দেখার তো কেউ নাইরে।

মাস গেলে সে টাকা পাঠায় বাড়ী

তাতেই চলে এখানে সংসার

কেউকি কখনো খোজ নিয়েছে

তার সেখানে কি দরকার?

অনেকেই দেয় প্রচুর শ্রম

যার যার কর্মস্থলে

রিজার্ভ ব্যাংকে টাকা জমে বহু

তাদেরই ত্যাগের ফলে।

বছরের পর বছর কাটে

দেশে আর আসা হয়না

মনটা টানে দেশের পানে

প্রানতো সেখানে রয়না।

তবু তারা চলেছে খেটে

সংসার আর দেশের তরে

বাড়ী স্বজনের হাসি মুখ দেখে

মনটা যে যায় ভরে।

এই ছেলেগুলো দেশে ফিরে এসে

পায় কি কোনো তার সুফল

এতো কষ্ট, ত্যাগ, তিতিক্ষা

সবই কি হবে তবে বিফল?

বিশ্বজুড়ে কোটি লোক

টিভির দিকে রাখছে চোখ

দর্শকেরা গ্যালারীতে করছে উচ্ছাস

তাদের দেয়া হর্ষধ্বনি বাড়াচ্ছে আত্মবিশ্বাস

চলছে খেলা খেলার মাঠে

বাড়ছে চাপ পথে ঘাটে

কারোও চোখে জলের ধারা

হচ্ছেবা কেই আত্মহারা

কেউবা পাবে সোনার জুতো

কেউবা আবার খাচ্ছে গুতো

গতি, শক্তি, মনোবল

শিরপা পাবে সেই দল

এই পৃথিবীর মিলনমেলা

চলুক বিশ্বকাপের খেলা।

একটা জিজ্ঞাসা থেকে যায় মনে

কেনো পৃথিবীতে আসা

কি কারনে জীবন, কবে মরন

শুধুই কি স্বপ্নের স্রোতে ভাসা?

একই ভাবনায় কেটে যায় সময়

সকাল-সন্ধা-রাত

তবুও যায়না পাওয়া এপ্রশ্নের উত্তর

যতই করিনা ভাবাভাবি আর সংখ্যার অনুপাত।

নদী পাড়ের জীবন

নদী সেতো থামতে জানেনা

চলার যে তার নেইকো সীমানা।

একুল ভেঙ্গে ওকুল গড়ে

চলে নদী সাগরে

ভাঙ্গবে সে তার ইচ্ছা মাফিক

যতই গড়ো বাধরে।

তবু নদীপাড়ের এই যে জীবন

অনেক জনের কাছে আপন

ভাঙ্গা গড়ার সাক্ষী তারা

নদী তাদের আপন হারা।

ভরা নদী উছলায়

পাড়ে পাড়ে বাড়ি খায়

ঐযে আসে প্রমত্তা ঢেউ

ওঠো সবাই জাগরে।
