ঢ্যাম কুড়কুড়, ঢ্যাম কুড়কুড়

বাজছে পুজোর ঢোল

দুর্গাদেবীর আগমনে

তুলছে সবাই বোল।

ছেলেমেয়ে, ছোটবড়ো

গাইছে সুরে গান

ঢাঁকের তালে, ঢোল-ডগরে

বাড়িয়ে ঐক্যতান।

দেবী আসলেন ঘোড়ায় চড়ে

যাবেন দেবী দোলায় করে

আসুক প্রানে প্রসন্নতা

থাকুক সবার মনটা ভরে।

মঠে মঠে চলছে পুজো

চলছে দেবীর আরাধনা

ধরায় আসুক সুখ-শান্তি

ছড়াক তাতে আলোকনা।

Kajla, the daughter of Kusumpur, has anyone saw her
I could not see her anymore, by the Ichhapura's bend.
She was like a banister, a smile was always on her face
Repeatedly, it seems, let's look at her.
Naughty was cute, listened to no one
That would be the end, it wasn't known.
To collect the water lily, she went there
Did not return and come home, everyone looked for her.
What about that girl, and nobody remembers now
Hope there will be one day, when I could see the Kajla girl again.

ভাঙ্গনের গান

হাকিকুর রহমান

ভাঙ্গনের গান শুনি যেনো চারিদিকে

বাঁধনের তার ছিড়ে গেছে কবে

প্রলয়ের ধারা লাগে এসে বুকে।

কাননের ফুল তলে পড়ে আছে

কুড়ানোর নেইতো কেউ

হৃদয়ের মাঝে অমানিশা ভরে

খেলে বেদনার ঢেউ।

শ্রাবনের ধারা ঝরে ঝরে পড়ে

ভরে দেয় মোর আঁখি

প্লাবনের বানে ভেসে গেলো সব

কাহারে কিভাবে ডাকি।

আঙনের সীমা ভেঙ্গে গেছে কবে

দেখিতে পারিনি আমি

আসরের শেষে খুজে ফিরি একা

গোধুলীর পানে থামি।

দীপশিখা নিভে গেছে কবে কোন ঝড়ে

জ্বালিনিকো তাকে আর যতদুর মনে পড়ে।

আঁধারের মাঝে তাই করি বিচরন

চেনা-অচেনার মাঝে অন্য ভুবন।

ভাগ্যের আকাশেতে জ্বলে শুকতারা

কেমোরে শোনাবে আজ পবনেরো ধারা।

মিছে চলা তবু পথে আশা নিয়ে বুকে

আলো আর আঁধারির খেলা চলে চারিদিকে।

The movements of life can be measured!
It is like a river
Sometimes straight, sometimes bend.
In the monsoon, the river flows
By swallowing two sides
Like the life in full of youth
The euphoria takes over.
Such a river as ever-flowing
Sometimes is ever quiet
Life is so desperate
Sometimes become tired.
Like a river, passing so many ways
Runs into the sea
By leaving everything in life

স্মৃতিগুলি মোর

বসে আছি পথো চেয়ে

কি আশায় কবে যেনো

At the break of the wave, you break harder, now what else do you want?
The wider region disappears into your womb
Loosing all, those villagers are just looking at you.
How many homes were lost in the blink of an eye?
Where to find the oven for cooking, where to find the pot.
The farmer see the darkness, where to cultivate
People's hand on the head, where will they live.
Doing so, you have no end
Everything went under the water, there is no remaining.

প্রতিক্ষন জুড়ে

ভুল শুধু করে যাই

পিছনে না ফিরে।

এক ভুল করে আবার চলি

অন্য ভুলের পথে

জীবনটাতো শেষই হলো

ভুলের খেসারতে।

যতই আমি দিচ্ছি পাড়ি

ভুলের বোঝায় ভরছে গাড়ি

গাড়িতে তো জায়গা নাই

হয়ে গেছে ভুলে বোঝাই।

বিবেকের দ্বারা চালিত হয়ে সোজা পথ ধরো।

সোজা পথের নেই বিকল্প সেটা মনে রেখো

বাঁকা পথ থেকে সর্বদা নিজে দুরে থেকো।

যেই পথে গেছেন চলে জ্ঞানী-গুনী জনে

সেই পথে চলতে হবে রেখো সেটা মনে।

একোন আলো, লাগলো এসে চোখে

ডেকে নিতে চায় যে মোরে, নতুন সুর্যালোকে।।

লাগুক হাওয়ায় দোলা,

মনের যতো চাওয়া গুলো থাকুক সেথায় তোলা।

ভাসুক মেঘের ভেলা,

মনের যতো ভাবনা গুলো করুক সেথায় খেলা।

বাজুক বাঁশের বাঁশি,

বাঁধন খুলে যাকনা উড়ে সকল কান্না-হাসি।

জাগুক প্রানে আশা,

আগল খুলে যাকনা উড়ে সকল ভালোবাসা।

I'm stupid, seemingly demoralizing
All around I see only evil and the degradation of humanity.
Who kills someone with a knife
There is no way to live, there is no way.
Passing off in front of a bus stopped
Then meet death, no one can save lives.
The car picks up on the pedestrian
Anyone cannot go home with life.
Vehicles are being desperately pursued
In the meantime, the stranded passengers are taken aback.
The procession of death - when will stop, how?
What would be the moan of losing a loved one - in the absence of good judgment!
In the heart of sorrow, the highest administration is needed attention
Make people feel confident by punishing the guilty with speedy trial.

The memory nevertheless pursued
The search is just that.
On the way to walk, on the way to talk
Was the ever-present tune
In the midst of thinking, in everyday work
The heart was full.

মুশফিক-তামিমের অবদানে জিতলো সেদিন বাংলাদেশ

তামিমের সাহসিকতার কথা বলে সেটা হয়না শেষ।

গ্যালারী ভর্তি দর্শকেরা উজাড় করে সমর্থন দিলো বিলিয়ে

তৈরি হলো জেতার পরিবেশ সবকিছু মিলিয়ে।

জিতলো এদিন বাংলাদেশ, "দ্য ফিজ"-এর জাদুকরী বলে

ভয়কি, ইমরুল-মাহমুদউল্লাহ খেলছে যখন দলে।

আবার জয়ে "দ্য ফিজ" গড়লো নতুন ইতিহাস

Wooly wooly clouds float in the sky.
The forest is covered with white catkin flowers
It looks like another world.
This morning is very sweet
Pain drives away from my heart.
The men are chanting on the field
There are rows of boats lined up.
Boy and girl go to school in a team
The shepherd rushed to the field and headed over.
Farmers go to the field with their shackles in the hand
The mother is washing her baby at the pond side.
Lotus erupts at big lake
The sweet aroma of the flowers of jasmine, belly and Spanish cherry.
Where can you see such a site, brother?
There is no limit to the form of beautiful Bengal.

ফুলেল শুভেচ্ছা

বেনুবনে আজ ফুটেছে বকুল

ফুটেছে আরও পারিজাত ফুল।

শিউলি, জবা, চামেলী, বেলী

দখীনা বায়ে করিছে কেলি।

রজনীগন্ধা, হাসনাহেনা

সুবাসে তাদের যায়যে চেনা।

হলুদ গাঁদা আর সুর্যমূখী

দেখে মনে হয় কতযে সুখী।

কৃষ্নচুড়ার ছায়ায় ছায়ায়

বৈশাখী রোদ ঢাঁকা পড়ে যায়।

চাঁপা, গোলাপ আর গন্ধরাজ

বাগানটাকে করে রাখে সাজ।

ফুটে কতো ফুল সারা বছর ধরে

এসোগো দেখি সবে নয়ন ভরে।

কুসুমপুরের কাজলা মেয়ে, দেখেছোকি তাকে

যায়না দেখা তাকে তো আর, ইছাপুরার বাঁকে।

চলন ছিলো বনহরিণী, মুখে ছিলো হাসি

বারে বারে তাই মনে হয়, তারে দেখে আসি।

দুষ্টুমিতে ছিলো পটু, শুনতোনাতো মানা

এমনি করে শেষ হবেযে, ছিলোনাতো জানা।

শাপলা তোলার নাম করে সে, গেলো সেইযে বিলে

ফিরেনি আর ঘরে আজো, খুজলো সবাই মিলে।

ঐ মেয়েটির কথা কি আর, কেউ রেখেছে মনে

হবে কি আর দেখা সেকি, কাজলা মেয়ের সনে।
