একটু পাওয়া প্রশান্তি

যখন বৃষ্টি নামে।

চলছে পৃথিবী জুড়ে

পরিবেশ বদলের পালা

তৃতীয় বিশ্বের দেশগুলোতে

বাড়ায় বেশী জ্বালা।

সময় মতো সবাই মিলে

নিতে হবে উদ্দ্যোগ

পরিবেশ ভারসাম্য হলে

কমে যাবে দুর্যোগ।

ভরা যমুনায়
সে ঢেউ যেয়ে আছড়ে পড়ে
রহিম মিঞার বাড়ীর আঙিনায়।
বাড়ীটি তার নদীর ঘাটে
মাছ ধরে তার জীবন কাটে
জোয়ার ভাটার হিসাব দেখে
যায় সে ঘরে সবকে রেখে
ভয় আছে তার মনে ভারী
কবে যে ভাঙ্গে বসত বাড়ী
তবুও সে বুক বেধে যায়
জীবন কাটে আশায় আশায়।

কুল ভেঙ্গে নদীতে পড়ে কেজানে

আশায় আশায় সবার দিন চলে যায়

কবে কে যে এই ঘাটে নৌকা ভিড়ায়

শুরু হবে নতুন করে বাঁচার চেতনা
