রাজার ছেলে ঘুরে ফিরে

গাঁয়ে গাঁয়ে গিয়ে

হাতে একপাটি জুতো নিয়ে।

এই জুতো পায়ে সঠিক

লাগবে যার

রাজার ছেলে জীবন সঙ্গীনি

করবে তার।

এমনিভাবে কতদিন গেলো চলে

সৈন্যরা সব ঘুরে ফিরে দলে দলে

জুতোর মালিককে খুঁজে পাওয়া

যায়না আর

রাজার ছেলের মন হয়যে ভার।

তবু হাল ছাড়েনা সে কোনমতে

একদিন ঠিকই পাবে তাকে এই পথে

হঠাৎ করে একদিন এক বাড়ি যেয়ে

মেয়েটিকে রাজার ছেলে গেলো পেয়ে

সিন্ডারেলা নামটি তার

দেখতে অনিন্দ সুন্দরী, রূপ তার অপার

দেখালো সে জুতো আরেক পাটি

রাজ্যের সবাই বল্লো ডেকে, এই মেয়েটিই খাঁটি

রাজ্যজুড়ে মহাসমারোহে

বিয়ে হলো তার

ভাগ্যে যদি লিখা থাকে

খণ্ডাতে পারে কেউ আর।

আজি এ নতুন প্রাতে

পলাশ ফোটানো, রবির কিরণ

পড়িলো যে আঁখি পাতে।

হৃদয় রাঙানো, প্রহর এসেছে

কানন ভরেছে ফুলে

ভুবন ভরানো, লহর জেগেছে

ধীরে বহা নদী কুলে।

আলোক জাগানো, চিন্তা ধারাতে

ভেসে যাই কোন দূরে

আবেগ জড়ানো, পাখির কাকলী

ডেকে নেয় সেই সুরে।

কেটে যায় হৃদয়ের গ্লানি মোর,

মুছে দিয়ে জরা, ভরিয়ে অন্তরা

প্রতিদিন আসে নতুন ভোর।

চেতনার বেড়াজালে বেঁধে রাখি অমলিন

স্মৃতির কাহনে হয়না যেনো তা ক্ষীণ।

আকুন্ঠ চিত্তে গমনাগমন, তবু ব্যর্থ হয় মনোরথ।

স্খলিত আশা প্রলম্বিত পথে, মনে করি মরুদ্যান

গুড়ুক খেয়ে চড়ক গাছে, উঠলো হুতুম পেঁচা

গাঁয়ের হাটে ইলশে পোনার, চলছে কেনা বেঁচা।

কে ধরেছে? কেই বা বেঁচে? দেখার কেহ নাই

বিনে বাঁধায় চলছে সেথায়, বিকিকিনি তাই।

এমনি করে চল্লে দেশে, রইবে নাকো ইলিশ

মোড়ল বাবু চোখটি বুজে, করছে হোথা থিসিস।

তাইতো বলি চড়ক গাছে, কে দিলো যে তেল

নেড়া হয়ে বসে আছি, পড়লো মাথায় বেল।

জীবনের ভেঁপু শুনেছি সে কবে, জ্ঞান বুদ্ধি পাওয়া থেকে

মরণের ভেঁপু শোনা যেতে পারে, যে কোন সময়

আর ছেড়ে যেতে হবে পরোপারে, পৃথিবীতে সব কিছু রেখে।

জীবন সেতো এক চলমান ট্রেন, থেমে থাকা জানেনা

পথে পথে কভু ক্ষণিকের দেরী, আর কিছু সেতো মানেনা।

চলা তার শুধু সমুখের পানে, পিছু ফিরে সে দেখেনা

কে এলো, কে গেলো, হিসেবটাতো সে কখনও রাখেনা।

এমনি করে জীবনের পথে, দিতে হবে সবে পাড়ি

সেতো চলে তার নিজের গতিতে, নেই কোন তাড়াতাড়ি।

দিব্য চিন্তা দোলে কাঁপে, মোর হৃদয়ের বাতায়নে

কুসুমকলি সুবাস ছড়ায়, ভোরের স্নিগ্ধ সমীরনে।

লক্ষ্যে যাবার প্রস্তুতি নিয়ে, পালে লাগিয়ে হাওয়া

নায়ের গলুইয়ে দৃঢ় পায়ে দাঁড়িয়ে, শুধুই এগিয়ে যাওয়া।

চিন্তার রেশ প্রতিটি প্রহরে, দেয় যে পিছনে ডাক

স্মৃতিগুলি মোর হারিয়ে গিয়েছে, থাক পিছু পড়ে থাক।

আগমনী শুনি ঐ সুদিনের, নিয়ে বুকে নতুন চেতনা

সুমুখের পথে পা বাড়ানো আবার, মুছে দিয়ে সব বেদনা।

দুষ্ট লোকের মিষ্ট কথায় কান দিওনা
কখন কিযে বলে সেটা গোনায় নিওনা।
ধূর্ত সে যে, সকল সময় চাইবে হারাতে
এমন অনেক লোকই আছে, এইযে ধরাতে।
সকল সময় থাকে তারা ধরা ছোঁয়ার বাইরে
এমন সকল বুদ্ধি আঁটে, তখন কিছু করার থাকে নাইরে।
এসব লোকের মাঝে থাকা, বড়ই যে বিপদ
কখন জানি ডেকে আনে, নতুন কোন আপদ।

মিহি বায় করিছে খেলা।

সূর্য ডুবে প্রতীচী পানে

পাখিকুল ঘরে ফিরে মায়ার টানে।

কাঁধে নিয়ে রসের হাড়ি

গাছি ফিরে নিজ বাড়ি।

কনকনে ঠান্ডা থামেনা যেনো

সকলে মিলে তাই আগুন পোহানো।

ভোরবেলা রসে ডোবানো পিঠা

বড়ই সুস্বাদু, খেতে লাগে ভারি মিঠা।

অতি শীতে মরি ভাই

তবুও শীত আসা চাই।

কেউবা হাটে বেদম জোরে

কেউবা আস্তে হেটে

কাজের মাঝেই ব্যস্ত সবাই

খাচ্ছে সবাই খেটে।

কেউবা আবার পিছন থেকে

দেয়যে পিঠে গুতো

হাটো আরও তাড়াতাড়ি

নেইতো কোন ছুতো।

এমনি করে হন্তদন্ত

পিছন ফিরে তাকিয়ে দেখি পায়ের চিহ্ন নেই।

ঘুম তাড়ুয়া চিন্তাগুলো চেপে বসে রাতে

নতুন আশার স্বপ্নে বিভোর হইযে প্রতি প্রাতে।

কেমন করে ঘটলো এসব বুঝতে পারিনিযে

এমন দিনও দেখতে হবে তখন বুঝিনিযে।

কার কাছে যে বিচার দিবো স্বাক্ষী সবুদ নেই

রসের পিঠা, বড়ই মিঠা

রসে ভিজিয়ে রাখার ফলে

সেতো নিখাঁদ, খেতে সুস্বাদ

ঘ্রাণে জিহ্বা ভরে জলে।

শীতের দিনে, আনো কিনে

চালের গুড়ো, মিঠা গুড়

চুলার পাড়ে, মাচার আড়ে

পিপড়া বাড়ায় শুড়।

একটু বসো, ক্ষণিক রোসো

হচ্ছে রসের পিঠা

ভিজলে রসে, থাকলে বসে

লাগবে তখন মিঠা।

ছেলে-পুলে, সবাই মিলে

রসের পিঠা খেয়ে

খালি হাড়ি, মাথায় বাড়ি

আঁধার চারিদিকে

নীচে দেখা যায়না ভূমি।

বাঁশবনে মাঝে মাঝে

জ্বলে উঠে জোনাকির আলো

আমাবস্যার এই রাত

এযেনো কৃষ্নকালো।

লক্ষীপেঁচা তার বাসায়

নড়ে চড়ে উঠে

বনের ঐ এক কোণে

ফনিমনসার ফুল ফুটে।

আঁধারির এই খেলা

কখন যে শেষ হবে

ভোরের আকাশে

Hornets came to the full field!
Wonder what will happen with the hog-plum wood?
Everyone else on the field is a fake, but the bull!
Which picture will be colorless?
Cannot write anything, but became a poet!

“চকচক করিলেই সোনা হয়না”

কাকের বাসায় সেকি হয় ময়না।

কয়লার ময়লা যায়না সেতো ধুলে

বিদ্যা সেকি কখনো যায় কেউ ভুলে।

ভুলে থাকা কখনোই ভালো লাগেনা

আঁধার জীবনে কভূ আশা জাগেনা।

সাগরের বেলাতেই কাটানো জীবন

হিসেবের খাতা কারো মিলেছে কখন।

জহুরী সে যে চেনে কোনটা খাঁটি সোনা

বিবেকবান মানুষ আছে সমাজে হাতে গোনা।

জীবন চলার পথে পথে আছে অনেক বাঁক

এগিয়ে যাবার জন্যে সেতো দিচ্ছে আবার ডাক।

The paddy boats came and crowded the ghats.
Paddy needs to be picked up soon
This time it is good for rice
Lift up, roll up.
Which resulted in this season
So with something
You can go to the front
To collect this rice.
What is the hope in the mind of the farmers to cut the rice
Will fulfill the desires altogether, by selling them.
Fill up this cultivar of farmers
All year round, let the store be full of rice.

আঁধার কেটে উঠেছে সুর্য, পূবের আকাশ জুড়ে

পাখীগুলি সব করে কলোরব, জেগে উঠে তাদের নীড়ে।

মানুষ সকল শুরু করে দিন, করে স্রষ্টার বন্দনা

নতুন এদিন হয় যেনো সফল, নিয়ে এই মন্ত্রণা।

ছোট খোকা-খুকু ঘুম থেকে উঠে, রওনা দেয় স্কুলে

ভবিষ্যতের মানুষ হবার, লক্ষ্য সামনে তুলে।

কর্মজীবিরা বেরিয়ে পড়ে কাজে, হয় নতুন দিনের শুরু

এমনি করে পৃথিবীটা চলে, বাজিয়ে জীবনের ডামাডুরু।

ধ্যানে তুমি, জ্ঞানে তুমি, প্রাণে তুমি, নিস্প্রাণে তুমি।

বেঁচে আছি পৃথিবীতে, তোমার করুণায়

পরপারে যেতে হবে, তোমার ইশারায়।

It's fun brother
